6.0 Freeride Team Get’s i.D’d
Nike 6.0 crossed the border with Nike i.D, bringing custom kicks to Canada for the first time ever. Freeride athletes Brandon Semenuk and Cam McCaul let loose with their creative minds, designing personalized Nike 6.0 Air Mogans.
What inspires Cam? Well if you saw him competing in the Slopestyle, you know a retro-80’s “I wear my sunglasses at night” color scheme is his thing.
Cam’s i.D design tied to his favorite jersey, creating black air mogan’s with pops of hot pink and turquoise. Personalized touches include his name across the back.
Brandon, who placed 3rd in the Slopestyle event, drew up a cool lemon-lime inspired shoe, complete with the tag line Soda Pop on the back.
Not only did the athletes design shoes, but also plenty of stoked kids entered the Nike 6.0 Design contest, showing us the hottest designs north of the border. Top designs will be chosen next week and winners will receive a pair of their custom kicks. So stay tuned to see if your style is a top-pick.
